BLEWETT'S WEB PAGE "NOTICE" PARENTS---Please return all textbooks by Friday, May 23 Much of the math the students are learning this second semester is new to them.  Please make sure they ask to stay for tutorials if they are not understanding any part of it.  I have tutorials every day after school except on Fridays.  I am also having the students complete a Weekly Homework page to help them understand word problems.  This page is handed out on Monday and is due on Thursday. If you are calculating your student's grade, please keep in mind that daily grades and quizes are each 30% and tests are 40%.  Weighted grading is probably new to your student.  Please have them do all of their correcting and review for tests on Friday.  I will be giving homework on most days.  The homework will be due at the beginning of class the next day.  If it is late, points will be deducted. To be successful in sixth grade, your student needs to know his/her multiplication facts 2 - 12 by memory.  Please study the facts with them for a few minutes each evening.
