Lightspeed, our email filter, is sending out a Lightspeed spam summary email to everyone each night that details every piece of email blocked from your address. From this email, you can forward and/or whitelist anything that was blocked from the previous day yourself, without having to submit a work order or call us.
Forwarding simply sends the blocked message to yourself so you can read it if you want to. Whitelisting puts the sender's address on a "whitelist" which means it is automatically not considered spam, but it is still scanned for viruses and content. If you don't need any of the email on the report, no action is required on your part.
Important: In order for you to receive the report, your FirstClass client preferences must be set so that junk mail handling is set to "accept". Many of you probably have this set to "silently delete". You can check this setting by clicking Edit-->Preferences-->Messaging Tab-->set junk mail handling to "accept".
If you are expecting a email like a forgotten password or something like that and you don't receive the expected email - log into the Lightspeed web page use link below or at the top of this page) and more than likely your email will be there - simply make it as NOT SPAM or FORWARD.
3. Click the link at the bottom of this to have your password emailed to you.
4. Check for receipt of your password in FirstClass; use it login to the personal spam administration page.
Once logged in, you will see a summary list of all your spam received to date. You can whitelist or blacklist mail from this page.
