Kindergarten concepts to be taught before May 23:

Comparing & Ordering Length of Objects:
Compare 2 or 3 objects according to length (longer/shorter than, or the same size as).
Order 2 or 3 objects according to length (longer/shorter).

Comparing Capacity of Objects:
Compare 2 containers according to capacity (holds more, holds less, or hold the same).

Comparing Weight/Mass of Objects:
Compare 2 or 3 objects according to weight/mass (heavier than, lighter than, or equal to).

Comparing Area of Two-Dimensional Objects:
Compare two flat surfaces of two-dimensional figures (covers more, covers less, or covers the same).

Math Vocabulary for CC #8:  
Longer, NOT, Weigh Less, Heavier, Shorter, Weigh More, Lighter, Capacity, In order, Shortest, Longest, and Explain your thinking.

Fact Fluency Program Focus:
Use one-to-one correspondence to describe sizes of sets of concrete objects.
Use manipulatives to build sets and match numbers to those sets.
Use numbers to describe how many objects are in a set through 20.
Identify numbers to 20 on a number line.
