Welcome to the Counselor's Corner!
I am Teresa Hardesty and I am the school guidance counselor at Corinth Elementary. I hold a BS in education from Southwest Texas State University and a MS in counseling from Texas Woman's University.
As the guidance counselor it is my privilege to serve all of the students at Corinth Elementary through classroom guidance lessons. I visit each class approximately once every 2 weeks and we discuss topics such as trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, citizenship, careers, and conflict resolution.
When needed, I also work with children on an individual and group basis. Topics in these areas may include divorce education, peer relations, ADD education, grief, and social skills. If you feel your child could benefit from counseling sevices, contact me at the school.
