Lampin’s List Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday as much as I did. It was great to see all the smiling faces on Monday ready to get busy. The kids have been working so hard and on task lately. They keep getting several complements from other teachers as well as myself. They have already earned a treat and are now working on pushing the start all the way to the right corner where they will be able to choose their own treat. WOW! I need some of that turkery magic to bottle and I’d be rich!  Here is what is going on for the next few weeks:         Theme: Christmas Around the World.         *We are still working at home to earn extra money for the Angel Tree. *Tomorrow is picture re-take day. This is for all who were absent or not satisfied with their original picture.         * StateplaceTexas Tornado Hockey Read to Achieve         I am keeping the bookmark here at school so they don’t lose it. They children need to read 3 books to get one free ticket and 6 to get 2 free tickets.  I am basing off of AR books. As they finish reading the books and taking the test I will give the bookmark to the person in charge of this and they will in turn get their free placeStateTexas Tornado ticket(s). So, when you see the tickets come home you will know what it is for.   *Holiday Book Orders are due tomorrow! Don’t forget if you want it to be a surprise gift put it in an envelope with a note in it.
