Teachers - we have a new version of the HCK web page template. You need to go to the Technology Info folder on the FirstClass desktop and do the following (in this order) - before the web template is available:
- double-click HCK Settings.fc & then click "Upgrade" on the next window that pops up
- double-click HCK Settings File v2.fc & then click "Upgrade" on the next window that pops up
- double-click HCK 3 Settings File.rez & then click "Upgrade" on the next window that pops up
This loads the template on to your computer. Follows these steps to load the computer onto your home computer so you can work on your web page at home (note: you have to have FirstClass loaded onto your home computer BEFORE doing this - thee the link on the left).
Then go to the Home Page folder, go to FILE > NEW > NEW DOCUMENT SPECIAL and finally> HCK-3 Web Page to create a web page with the new template. It's basically the same but with more choices & features - it looks a little different (and the new choices and features do not appear on old web pages - you have to create a new web page & copy & paste the old stuff over to the new template.
Then you can use the links on the left for instructions on using the new features - but you can probably figure most of them out just by clicking on each tab and selecting or typing in your information.
