Healthy Reminder To Parents
This is the season for flu, colds, strep throat, sinus infections and viral illnesses affecting the stomach. Please when your child/children complain of sore throat, headaches, coughing, stomachache or cramps, observe for the following symptoms and if present consult your doctor and keep them at home.
Fever ( 100 degrees or greater, stay home)
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Throat pain for more than 3 days
If your child is having any of the above symptoms, please keep them home for at least 24 hours before returning to school . Viral infections, not usually treated with antibiotics, are contagious and communicable as long as your child has any of the symptoms listed above. Please keep them home. If at all possible, do NOT send antibiotics to school. Administer at home when possible.
