WHAT DO WE DO IN PE?
* We dress out each day into our uniforms of grey shirts and black shorts with the Lake Dallas emblems on them.
* We stretch and run everyday first, and then we begin the day's activity.
* Please bring a note if you are sick, or need to sit out. You may bring 2 notes to sit out in a six weeks unless you have a notefrom a Dr.
* Bring appropriate shoes and socks to PE class everyday.
* Each week we will have one cardiovascular day. (students will have a timed run/jog/walk on these days.)
* Each student needs a combination lock for their lockers.
* Students are graded on dressing out, participation, and sportsmanship!
WEEKLY ACTIVITIES FOR 2007-2008
August 27-31--Welcome To Lake Dallas Middle School! Orientation, Rules, and Introductions! Assign Lockers, Begin Learning Stretching Routine.
September 3-7--Continue learning stretching routine, and continue passing out PE uniforms. We will also begin Presidential Fitness Testing in the latter part of the week. This is a fitness test composed of different fitness activities.
September 10-21--Movement games, relay races, pull ups, mile run/jog/walk, circuit training days, fire/tornado
October--29-Nov. 2--Football games, movement activites, mile run/walk,
